ADEXGO participated in the development of a new mass feed testing device

ADEXGO Kft. participated in the development of an in-farm forage testing device based on a new measurement methodology in the GINOP+ project of Geo-Milk Kft. and Neumann János University. The aim of the three-year project was to significantly improve the precision and accuracy of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) testing of forages with high water content, heterogeneous appearance and extremely diverse composition under farm conditions using a novel sample preparation technology. The developed measuring device allows us to perform more reliable on-site rapid testing. Thanks to this, feeding specialists can make decisions based on objective data that improve the quality of feeding, increase production efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Results of the recent years presented at the NIR Klub

The NIR Klub is an event of the Institute of Food Science and Technology of MATE, Buda Campus, which is usually organized jointly with the Food Science Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Department of Chemical Sciences. At the symposia, experts interested in the topic are informed about the research and developments in the field of NIR spectroscopy and the applications of NIRS in various fields. The speaker of the NIR Klub held on October 31, 2024 was George Bázár, Head of Research of the Correltech Laboratory of ADEXGO Kft., who gave a presentation on the application possibilities of small-sized NIR spectrometers based on different technologies in the agriculture and food industry.
